Big Momma

My 1986 FJ1200

Big, Beautiful and some very long Legs!

I found Big Momma, my '86 FJ 1200 in 2003. I had stopped by WOW (World of Wheels, a used motorcycle super store) to visit with a friend working there. While waiting for "Geo" to come out to the showroom, with some 200 motorcycles, I noticed a very nice FJ 1200 with a fiberglass lower faring. Now, I have always been a Twin kinda guy, but there was something about this multi that spoke to me. Soon Geo came out and we talked about his new job. I mentioned the FJ and he said "You should but it. Nice Bike and low miles too".

As he went back to work in the shop. I looked again at the FJ, she had only 13,000 miles!

She has a Corbin "Gunfighter" seat, SuperTrapp Pipes, K&N filter pods.

Needless to say about two weeks later she was mine. She is a ball to ride, very fast, and indeed has some long legs. The first real ride on her was some 500 miles long. Something hard to do on my XS650s.

The Sound of "Big Momma"
